Hello and congratulations to you both on your engagement and decision to marry. How wonderful that you are taking the next step in your relationship and getting married. It would be my honour and privilege to be chosen by you as your wedding celebrant. I believe that love is love whatever the union so please contact me so we can arrange to meet and discuss your upcoming wedding.
A little about Susan
People who know me describe me as friendly, kind, open, honest, positive and always giving more than expected. I live my life by my favourite mantra - always do things with love and a kind heart. It always shows in the outcome.
I am a professional Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant and I have been married for 43 years and have a zest for life. I get great joy from helping people and have genuine care about couples I have the privilege of helping with their ceremony.
I love the romance of weddings and happily ever after and helping couples prepare a personalised ceremony that meets their needs and budget.
What I can offer you
I am a one stop celebrant that can either design a service for you, work with you both to design the service you want or step back and just offer assistance and advise when asked to make sure you have a ceremony you are happy with and one that will give you lifelong, fond memories.
This leaves you with a peace of mind that all the important details are taken care of and gives you more chance to enjoy the experience of planning your ceremony and wedding and enjoying the day itself. Remember I am here at your service and nothing is ever too much trouble. This is about you and your special day. I am here to make sure your dreams come true.

Areas that I service
I am based in Burpengary and I am happy to travel anywhere within Queensland and Northern NSW Additional costs for travel greater than 100 klms may be charged. For long distance bookings . accommodation and air travel costs are to be funded by the couple.

What I require you to Provide at our first meeting
- An original copy of your birth certificate
- Photo Id
- If previously married original evidence of termination of that marriage
- Dates of previous marriages
- Both of your parents names in full
- Your mothers maiden name
- Both of your parents dates of birth
- Both of your parents place of birth
- Together we will complete the NOIM - Notice of Intended Marriage
- Your thoughts and ideas for your wedding
- Any questions you may want to ask.
FAQ's
What if I want to write our own ceremony?
If you would like to do that you are most welcome to. Your wedding is your special day. As long as we include the mandatory wording to make your marriage legal you can be as creative as you would like.
Do I have to change my name after the wedding?
No you do not.
How do I change my name after the wedding?
On the day of your ceremony you will receive a decorative copy of your Marriage Certificate. After your ceremony I will lodge your paperwork with the Department of Births, Deaths and Marriages. I will also apply for your official Marriage Certificate. This is the document you need to change your name.
